Effect:
"Owls not only are more sensitive to small sounds but have asymmetrical ears (one ear being lower on the skull than the other) this means sounds from a single source reach the ears at slightly different times. This gives the owl the equivalent of binocular hearing, allowing them to pinpoint the source of a sound extremely accurately. Barn Owls, Tyto alba, can locate and catch small mammals in complete darkness using only their hearing."

Binocular Hearing has two effects:
First, it allows Selena to hear at a slightly farther range than normal (in other words, her ears are more sensitive to sound).
And second, just like the owl, she can pinpoint the source of sounds pretty accurately. The closer the sound is, the more accurate her judgement

Example:
~Opponent casts smokescreen around Selena rendering her unable to see anything at all
~Selena listens for movement
~Opponent runs at Selena
~Selena hears footsteps, turns to the direction, and thrusts forward with dagger.

History: One night, near midnight, while walking through a forest, Selena decided to stop and take a rest. Selena had been walking in the forest all day, looking for some herbs she heard were good for making medicine, but with no luck. She had brought food with her, and she was hungry, so she decided it'd be wise to sit for a while and eat. As she ate her food, she found it rather difficult to eat because it was nearly impossible to see and there were several animals making noise. Above her sat an owl clearly searching for food. She wondered how an owl could find food at night, and realized that it always dove for small mice when they rustled leaves underneath them or made small squeaks. Selena wondered how an owl can pinpoint such small creatures' locations when it hit her. They used sound. Thus, Selena stayed in the forest for several days observing owls, developing her hearing sense more than any other sense [by closing her eyes and staying still] and eventually mastered Owl's Direction

You do realize unless they make an obvious movement you can't really predict how their arms and legs are moving just know their physical position correct?

Also, say if there is thunder, as in the sound, you do realize it would effect you more than it would someone else, right?

i know. Basically their physical position like you said.
and it's not like it'll hurt my ears. Unless you meant something different?

I know, but just saying that everything is enhanced, so it won't be like, you would hear someone in thunder, just as you normally wouldn't without this ability active.
